I was originally going to start a blog in June to document training for my first marathon. The race came and went, and clearly, this blog wasn’t around! Now that’s it over, I’m trying to lose the 20+ pounds that I put on training for the marathon. You can read more about my history with weight in my about me.

I’ve been a reader of a lot of great healthy living / food blogs over the past year, and have used a lot of them as inspiration to get more active and creative in the kitchen. I want to focus on eating the foods that I know are right for me and to get back to feeling good about my food choices, all while training for more races and experimenting more in the kitchen.

I don’t intend for this to be a weight loss blog- I want to feel healthy and treat weight loss as a side effect. 🙂

I’m a runner, vegetarian, and student that wants to get back on the right path. I want to make eating and exercising enjoyable so it’s something I look forward to every day. Thanks for following me in my journey!
