Twas the night before a race…

…and Kate didn’t know how far to run.
She thought of her pace,
Would a 10k or a 5k be more fun?

Her decision was this-
The 5k was her choice.
She had a feeling of bliss-
A shorter race was cause to rejoice!

So off to bed she went,
Because tomorrow would be an early day.
She was feeling quite spent-
If she is too tired there would be hell to pay!

Her goal is to finish under twenty five,
Which is highly desired.
If she makes it out alive,
You better believe she will be tired!
